As hot sunny days are drawing to a close, and the lazy afternoons of enjoying summer treats like ice-cream, Popsicles and Slushies are escaping. Banana Icecream – perfect for a healthy, hot-afternoon snack. I love how she uses a food processor, great for those of us who don’t have ice-cream machines.
Jello Watermelon Jiggles – sure to bring a smile to your kiddo, and there are no seeds to spit out.
Make Slushies from Hawaiian Punch – made with an icecream maker, yummy and cool.
Looking for a healthy slushie option? Here is a recipe made with berries. I bet it would taste yummy with some veggies thrown in there too.
Have a fruit shark attack – this watermelon-based fruit salad is perfect for a party.
Try cooking foods from a different country and culture with your child – they ate homemade Japanese food.
Eat the fruit of the rainbow with this fun tray. Try adding veggies and a yogurt dip.
